Skater Nathan Apodaka who saw himself viral thanks to the extreme cold A TikTok video in which he appears imitating Fleetwood Mac Classic Dreams is inundated with generous donations from fans.

Apodaca aka @ 420doggface208 on TikTok uploaded an awesome video of him sliding down a skateboard while sipping cranberry juice and jamming along the length of a ’70s song.

This landed fame via Fleetwood Mac’s official social media accounts and spread in less than a week, with his video now viewed a whopping 16 million times.

As a result, Dreams are now climbing the music charts, and if that wasn’t crazy enough, Apodaca was inundated with kind donations from fans – $ 10,000 (£ 7770) to be exact.

Fans felt obliged to help Apodaca after learning that he was living in an RV without running water. He has now parked his recreational vehicle at his brother’s house, but he hopes to use the money he got to help prepare him for a place to live.

Talking to TMZThe TikTok star said, “ At the moment, I have over $ 10,000. It’s crazy … I don’t know how many donations will keep coming in, but it’s a blessing. I just need a place of my own where I can cook and clean, bathe and shower. ‘

“I definitely want to give my mom a little something,” he revealed, “and now I’ll give her $ 5,000 and surprise her with that.”

Apodaca also shed light on how his viral video came about and made it clear that he was on his way to work when his car closed and he only had 15 minutes to get there in time.

He always kept his longboard in the back, so he decided to ski to work instead and returned to the perfect setting for his video shoot, having been inspired by another skater who loved cranberry juice and his boyfriends.

After the donations started arriving, Apodaca took to Twitter to thank everyone for their support.

He tweeted: “ I just want to say thank you to everyone who shows love and supports this video with an RV a while ago, I bought it when I saved up to $ 1,000, I’m still in an RV but now I’m in front of my siblings. I have a place to shower and [poo emoji] (Not in that order) Bong !! thank you very much.

Fleetwood Mac posted his video on Twitter, telling fans: “We love it!”

This led to an increase in the number of Dreams listened to by fans, as the song was broadcast 390,728 times in the past week and reached number 136 on the UK charts.

In Australia, it jumped to 46th and in New Zealand it jumped from 50 to 32.

Apodaca followed his original video with another TikTok, where he shared his surprise about the impact his skateboarding clip had.

He said: ‘After I did this video, you guys know, the virus has spread – holy sheep. I just want to say thanks from the bottom of my heart from DoggFace, me and my family, to all of you guys. No words come to mind … just overnight was crazy.

Thank you all for the donations, thank you all for the comments, thank you all for the gifts. I just appreciate everyone.
