Bachelor’s star Matt James is preparing for his show season.

Matt, who was announced as the next captain over the summer, was originally cast as Claire Crowley’s season.

However, Claire panicked on Twitter when she learned that Matt and a few other men were supposed to be using Cameo to raise money.

She was furious that they were using the Bachelorette’s franchise to attract attention to Cameos, even though Matt was not guilty of the accusation.

ABC didn’t see Claire’s point, so they removed Matt from its season and gave him his own season.

Matt James filming season will begin in 10 days

Matt was also chosen as the season captain because ABC faced criticism for not including more people of color.

Reality Steve posted a screenshot of a Tweet that he shared to his Instagram Stories. He revealed in a tweet that the women who will compete in Matt Season will be heading to Pennsylvania this week.

“Reality Steve” also mentioned that he heard that filming will begin on Saturday, October 10, only 11 days away, which means that women who will arrive today will remain in quarantine for about 10 days.

For Claire’s season, the men were in quarantine for 14 days, but Chris Harrison was not in quarantine at all when he returned to the set after leaving his son in college in Texas.

Matt James went to Pennsylvania some time ago for quarantine

About two weeks ago, Matt was first seen at Nemacolin Resort in Pennsylvania with the producers. He looked excited to start filming his new season.

A few days later, he shared an emotional message about signing so he could film The Bachelor. He thanked Tyler Cameron and Tyler’s late mom for everything they had done for him, saying he wouldn’t be here without them.

He also indicated in the post that he will be returning with a plus one and hope to return home with his potential fiancée.

His friend Tyler appeared on Hannah Brown’s season in The Bachelorette and reached the top two. While he was more than eager to engage with Hannah, she chose Jade White. She eventually learns that he has kept a secret affair at home, which causes her to split from him.

While fans were hoping she’d get back together with Tyler, they haven’t announced any affair yet.

The Bachelorette premieres Tuesday October 13 at 8 / 7c on ABC.
