In an age of near-constant video calls (a lot!), Commuting and forgetting about headphones can be a huge annoyance.

Lenovo has a very neat solution (via Tack radarWe haven’t seen it on a laptop before. The new ThinkBook 15 Gen 2 i from the company has built-in wireless Bluetooth headphones.

When I say integrated, I mean it: The earphones are literally stored inside the laptop. Even better, it charges when stored, and Lenovo says it will automatically connect to the laptop’s audio when taken out. Other features include dual microphones and environmental noise cancellation, as well as a double tap mute / cancel mute on the earbuds.

Of course, you still have to remember to put it back in its little drawer after using it. But as long as you do, it’s such a relief to know that the earbuds go wherever your laptop goes.

Other than the earphones, the ThinkBook 15 Gen 2 i (which is a terrible name, Lenovo) can get either an 11th-generation Intel Core i7 processor or an AMD Ryzen 4000 processor, up to 40GB RAM and up to 1 TB SSD or up to 2 TB HDD.

Depending on which variant you choose, you can either combine Intel Iris X or UHD graphics, an Nvidia GeForce MX450 graphics card, or an integrated AMD Radeon graphics card. The laptop has a 15.6-inch screen (a touch-screen version is also available), and either a 45-watt-hour battery provides 6 hours of work, or a 60-watt-hour battery that can accommodate eight hours of work.

To make things even more confusing, Lenovo only ships the built-in earbuds with the Intel variant, and even with only select models.

Finally, the laptop (both options) comes with an adequate number of ports, including a Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB-C port, two USB-A ports, an HDMI port, a 4-in-1 card reader, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It weighs 3.75 pounds or more, depending on configuration.
