Claude Remains Absent From Pentagon AI Platform
One notable absence from the Pentagon’s growing collection of AI models is Anthropic’s Claude.
The Defense Department’s relationship with Anthropic deteriorated after the AI company declined to provide unrestricted military use of its technology and maintained certain safety restrictions.
The Trump administration subsequently designated Anthropic as a supply-chain risk, a classification the company is challenging in court.
