Minecraft Live is one of the most long awaited events for the Minecraft community as the player base receives exciting news and announcements for future updates.

Mojang appeared with the big guns this year, giving fans enough excitement regarding the new content. It featured one of the biggest announcements from the Minecraft v1.17 event which is the Caves and Cliffs update.

The update is shaping up to be one of the largest in Minecraft history. You will introduce many important elements of the game, such as new caves and mountains.

When exactly will Minecraft 1.17 Caves and Cliffs update be available for download?

Given the size and scale of the update, Mojang is playing its cards near the box, with the update planned to be released in mid-2021. The update also includes a new Mob in the form of Glow Squid.

The Minecraft community has been asked to vote for which Mob they want to include in the next update. Of 3 options to choose from, Glow Squid has emerged as the clear victor, and fans are excited to discover the challenge ahead.

Since the update is still several months away, players will have to wait a while before they can discover everything that the new update has to offer. So far, Mojang has yet to release an official list of additions to the game in the new update.

The reveal of Minecraft Live 2020 included a brief summary of the Caves and Cliffs update, focusing on Lush Caves among several other new additions.
