(Prudent Press Agency) --- Lauren Bergman is a pathologist by day, but she longs to be a rock star. Specifically, she wants to produce a CD of her own original songs. Her quest to make her dream come true introduces her to the wild world of musicians—the insanely expensive and ridiculously user-unfriendly music software, the imperious teachers, the crazy session players, and the intimidating virtuosos. Lauren plunges in head first, determined to make the CD no matter what.
Two and a half years, five instruments, six instructors, and countless moments of frustration later, Lauren makes it happen—she finds herself holding her CD in her hands. Was it worth the cost, both to her pocketbook and her psyche? Her story is both hilarious and inspirational, proving it is never too late to pursue a dream.

(Prudent Press Agency)---The Twilight Zone premiered on television in 1959 on CBS and introduced the baby-boomer generation to an eclectic mix of science-fiction, fantasy and satirical humor written by some of the top writers of the era. Its appeal was immediate and reruns of the original show continue to this day second only to I Love Lucy as the most syndicated show in television.
And now it's crossed over into new media and a new generation through a nationally syndicated radio network, XM and Sirius Satellite Radio, a website, and audio downloads of classic and original scripts adapted to the theater of the mind.

Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror : Nibiru, 2012 and Annunaki - A Threat to Humanity?
|
| on 2010/2/15 14:10:00 (401 reads) |
(Prudent Press Agency)---You probably heard about the planet called Nibiru and the rumors about 2012 being the end of the world. So why does people believe in Nibiru? Who are the Annunaki? Let me answer the questions surrounding Nibiru, 2012, the Annunaki and what all the fuzz is about.
It all started with a man named Zecharia Sitchin, who discovered some interesting messages in the ancient Sumerian texts. According to him, they talk about people called the Annunaki. Annunaki means those from heaven who came to earth, and there are depictions of these creatures on ancient tablets. These creatures look like giant humans, and according to the Sumerians live on a planet called Niburu, also known as planet x.

Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror : Legion Movie Review (Watch movies online)
|
| on 2010/2/9 12:50:00 (187 reads) |
(Prudent Press Agency)---If you are a lover of religious apocalypse movies like the Seventh Sign but from a bizarre standpoint, Legion might be a movie that peeks your interest. Sure there are movies that have been made in the past that focus on religion and it seems as though the overall objective of the movie is to try and convert atheist into believers. But if you watch movies online or in theatres you will find that some movies are simply just remakes. Legion could possibly fall into the remake category of the Seventh Sign featuring Demi Moore but with a twentieth century appeal that is an attraction for the younger generation. Stewart and Peter Schink have scripted this movie to be full of action and the way in which God is depicted in the Legion is really what puts a twist on this movie.

Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror : The Quantum Nature of Reiki - Towards a Scientific Explanation
|
| on 2009/10/19 14:00:00 (227 reads) |
(Prudent Press Agency)--- In this article I would like to launch an investigation into the Quantum Nature of Reiki in order to better understand some of the surreal (but distinct) possibilities. To begin... let us consider the following metaphor. In a charming little book, Edwin A. Abbott takes us on an adventure to Flatland, a land where everything exists in two-dimensional reality.
Imagine a birds-eye view Flatland, everything is two-dimensional, that is, there is length and width, but no height. There is no third-dimension... no 3D. Likewise, the inhabitants of flatland would also be two-dimensional. Take a piece of paper and make a square... inside of it draw a few happy faces. Those are what the people of Flatland would look like on a good day.
